Kenmore Library
The mission of the Kenmore Library is "to ensure that students are effective users and producers of ideas and information."
Purpose
Our goal is to provide the skills, experiences, and confidence that will enable students to use libraries and information resources for life-long learning. Kenmore Elementary Library has approximately 10,000 books/materials available for check-out by students and parents. Students visit the library as a class once a week where they
- receive instruction in library and information skills.
- learn about and listen to quality literature.
- check out books.
Students may also visit the library for check out or research during recess or at a time approved by the teacher.
Computers
We have computers which are used for word processing, research and for accessing materials in our library.
Our Web site has many links that can assist families with homework support.
Birthday Books
Our collection is supplemented by birthday book donations in honor of our students' birthdays. If you would like to donate a book in honor of your birthday, please stop by the library and pick up a birthday book form
